Paul DeMatteis
 Mr. De Matteis is the Senior Adviser on Corporate Security Programs and Director of John Jay College of Criminal Justice Leadership Academy. Mr. De Matteis also established the Risk Management Institute at the College to analyze corporate risk and to develop and implement effective business and security strategies to mitigate risk. Professional credentials include both the Certified Protection Professional and Certified Fraud Examiner certifications.
Academically, Paul has developed and presented security related courses for Masters Degree and Continuing Education Programs since 1991 and is a member of the President's Leadership Council. Notable projects over the years have concentrated in the fields of threat assessment, security management, financial fraud prevention, complex international investigations, global crisis management, counterterrorism, information security, executive protection and the development of mitigating controls. His domestic and international work over the years has enabled him the opportunity to develop strong relationships with law enforcement and governmental agencies worldwide and a global perspective of risk management. Internationally astute, Mr. De Matteis has worked in over sixty countries developing security strategies that add value and protect staff and assets.
