Officers can access complete LETN training programs on-demand that include the training courses in full motion video, course materials and POST tests by accessing our learning management system, PRIMEnet.
LETN Career Track– New! Coming in October 2007
Chiefs typically do not have time to select courses they want their officers to train. LETN’s new education director is a former police chief committed to professional excellence. With his assistance, LETN has developed a number of “Career Tracks” such as:
- Patrol I,II,III, and IV
- Traffic Officer I & 2
- Field Training Officer
- Special Operations
- Investigator I & II
- Investigator Sex, Child and Family Specialist
- Crime Scene Investigator
- Narcotics Investigator
- Supervisor
- Administration and Leadership
Each of these “Career Tracks” has 20 to 28 pre-selected LETN courses which enhance the skills needed in that particular field. A Chief has the option to alter these tracks and add additional courses.
