Law enforcement officers may have only a split second to react in order to prevent a crime, detain a suspect or de-escalate a potentially volatile situation. The Law Enforcement Training Network (LETN) delivers targeted training that enables officers to respond appropriately to ensure officer safety and reduce liability.

Superior Training Content
Our content and delivery has been formally endorsed by the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards & Training (IADLEST), the American Society for Law Enforcement Training (ASLET) and the Oklahoma City National Memorial Institute for the Prevention of Terrorism (MIPT).

LETN offers the most comprehensive curricula to law enforcement agencies and officers. Our training covers a wide array of courses, in areas such as:

  • Criminal Investigation
  • Specialized Units
  • Legal Issues
  • Patrol
  • Dispatch
  • Terrorism
  • Women in Policing
  • Professional Standards
  • Emergency Management
  • Administration/Management
  • Corrections
  • And More

Flexible Delivery Options
We offer a variety of delivery methods that will meet the needs of your department including our encrypted satellite training network, DVD, VHS and PRIMEnet with Desktop Video-On-Demand, LETN’s latest e-learning option. Officers can access complete LETN training programs on-demand that include the training courses in full motion video, course materials and POST tests by accessing our learning management system, PRIMEnet.

LETN Career Track– New! Coming in October 2007
Chiefs typically do not have time to select courses they want their officers to train. LETN’s new education director is a former police chief committed to professional excellence. With his assistance, LETN has developed a number of “Career Tracks” such as:

  • Patrol I,II,III, and IV
  • Traffic Officer I & 2
  • Field Training Officer
  • Special Operations
  • Investigator I & II
  • Investigator Sex, Child and Family Specialist
  • Crime Scene Investigator
  • Narcotics Investigator
  • Supervisor
  • Administration and Leadership

Each of these “Career Tracks” has 20 to 28 pre-selected LETN courses which enhance the skills needed in that particular field. A Chief has the option to alter these tracks and add additional courses.
