TWL Knowledge Group provides the most comprehensive family of training, education and informational products delivered through advanced distance learning media.

More than 15 years ago, TWL Knowledge Group helped define the term "distance learning" by creating industry-specific satellite-delivered training and education networks. Since then we've expanded our offerings to become the largest provider of satellite-delivered distance learning. With state-of-the art production and broadcast capabilities, we deliver targeted, timely training programs five days a week, across multiple industries. This constant flow of programming ensures that companies and institutions are always on top of the latest training techniques.

In addition, our broadcast newsroom, augmented by news feeds from CNN (and Associated Press), delivers real-time industry news and information, tailored for your specific audience by our professional news staff.

Our satellite networks include:

  • LETN - Law Enforcement Training Network
  • FETN - Fire and Emergency Training Network
  • HSTN - Health & Sciences Television Network
  • LTCN - Long Term Care Network
  • JCRQSN - Joint Commission Resources Quality & Safety Network

Satellite Installations
TWL Knowledge Group has 150 contract field technicians who install and service all downlink sites.

TWL Knowledge Group supplies all downlinks, which are installed by our contractors. The satellite reception equipment package for its networks includes an integrated receiver decoder (IRD), low noise block converter, dish and non- penetrating roof mount.

Broadcast Support Facilities
TWL Knowledge Group can receive both C and Ku band satellite broadcasts. It can uplink Ku band at our facility and/or microwave on its permanently installed, redundant send/receive signal to DFW Teleport. We have over 208 VHS duplication machines with complete fulfillment and distribution of taped and print product.

Technical and Customer Service Center
The Customer Care Center, which consists of Technical Support Representatives and Customer Support Representatives, receives virtually all incoming calls to the networks which are not placed to a specific individual or number.

Each representative is trained and empowered to handle a variety of customer questions and requests. They are also trained on all technical operations of satellite and multimedia products so to handle all customer problems and questions. Calls to the center are measured and documented in terms of response time.

Staff works toward specific objectives in these and resolution areas. The customer service center has 97% resolution ratio on first time inbound calls. The remaining 3% receive further help beyond just the inbound call.
