The Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS) recognizes the dynamic and evolving roles of pre-hospital care providers in delivering quality care to patients in emergency settings. Meeting these dynamic needs requires that EMS personnel continually update their knowledge and skills. Continuing education activities provide an organized opportunity for such updating to occur. However, for prospective attendees, judging the quality of an advertised activity can be difficult. CECBEMS has established a system for evaluating continuing education offering and assuring potential attendees/participants of the quality of such activities.
