Remembering Our Fallen Friends –
An Appropriate Response
Recently the Addison, Texas, Fire Department
dedicated a memorial plaza outside their Central Station.
I had written an article some years back about the loss
of Steve Webb, and that caused the Dallas newspaper to
contact me upon this dedication.

Wow! Where has the time gone! Christmas is over and we're
into 2007! What happened to August?! As a kid I remember
sitting at the kitchen table with my mom and she would comment
on how fast time flies. Of course at 16 I felt time wasn't
going by fast enough.
