Airbag Update 2007, Part 2
038-7008
While airbag systems help to protect vehicle occupants during a crash, they also can pose many special challenges to fire, EMS, rescue, and law enforcement responders assisting at crash scenes. For their own safety, first responders must be familiar with current airbag system technology in today’s vehicles. Join training expert Ron Moore for Part 2 of Airbag Update 2007 as he discusses airbag location and ID identifiers and tags and side impact and roof airbags systems. He will also identify important safety issues involving stored gas airbag inflator modules and pressurized vessels and discuss how to handle these systems during extrication.

American Heat: Reducing Deaths in Apparatus
463-0107
Every year a significant number of firefighters die in accidents involving apparatus. Most of these accidents can be prevented through policy enforcement, proper training, vehicle maintenance, and the use of safety devices. This course examines some of the most common causes of apparatus deaths and identifies methods that fire agencies can implement to help reduce firefighter fatalities.

PULSE: Acute Cardiogenic Pulmonary Edema
