Now you will be able to view a daily newscast here at FETN.com.
Through our affiliation with CNN, FETN is the only training
service that can bring you news, stories and information specific
to the fire and EMS community. The daily newscast keeps you
up-to-date on the latest developments in emergency response
and is aimed to increase first-responder preparedness in the
times of disaster or terror.

Remembering Our Fallen Brothers in Charleston, SC
On June 18, 2007, we lost nine of our brave brothers in Charleston,
SC. Life for many families will never be the same. It was
the worst single loss of firefighters since 9/11, according
to a spokesman from the U.S. Fire Administration. Our prayers
are that God's peace, comfort, and provision will abide on
the many that are hurting from this significant event.

Cyberwar - It's Not Just Hollywood Hype Anymore

but recent events suggest the Internet is becoming a theatre
for genuine international conflict. Although the government
said it does not know of any threats of such an attack, federal
agencies are bracing for a cyberattack of historic proportions
- what some observers call a cyber Pearl Harbor.
