The FETN Family: Toronto Fire Services
City of Toronto Fire Services (TFS), the largest fire service
in the largest city in Canada, recently signed a multi-year
FETN service and subscription agreement for their 2,800 members
in 81 various stations in the Greater Toronto metro area.
In welcoming the TFS to the FETN family, we interviewed TFS'
Division Chief, Doug Silver, regarding his department's decision
to choose FETN and its delivery platform of PRIMEnet™
Plus with Desktop Video on Demand (DVOD). We also asked Chief
Silver to share their approach in preparing for emergencies
and the challenges they face.

Let's Get Physical, Let's Get Fit
Even if you're putting it through the rough routine of hauling
hoses into burning buildings, carrying people on stretchers
down steep stairways, jumping out of airplanes, or hiking
out of forests with hundred-pound packs, the human body is
a remarkable machine that can adapt to these and many other
tasks. Proper care and feeding, including a good lifelong
fitness program, are the least you can do for it.
