Increase Utilization and Retention by Increasing Awareness and
Planning:
Each month, your FETN Training Administrator should post a copy
of the FETN Monthly Training Calendar in a highly visible location
around the television set in the station. You can use the calendar
provided on your monthly instructor disk or you may go online
at www.fetn.com to print a copy
of the training calendar. Training officers should incorporate
FETN into their monthly training schedule. Some departments use
FETN as a stand-alone training resource, others use FETN as a
supplemental tool for hands on training but a majority use FETN
during both training settings. Your plan should include reviewing
the course materials, viewing the selected FETN training program
and completion of the accompanying post test. FETN issues certificates
of completion for all passed courses.
PRIMEnet users have the ability to enroll students into assigned
learning objectives and keep track of each users progress by running
a variety of reports including Group Learning Plan Compliance
Reports, Training Status Reports and the Test Performance Report
to name a few. If you are using an alternative records management
system to document other completed training, you can export your
FETN training history by running a Training Data Report/Export.
Subscribers who choose to utilize PRIMEnet with FETN's latest
training delivery method, Desktop Video-on-Demand (DVOD), have
