The Courage to Stay Safe
Since 1984, we've lost 3,300 brothers and sisters of the
fire service. You may be surprised to learn one of the reasons
why. Reducing fire service deaths by 25% in 2009 and 50%
by 2014 is the goal of "The Courage to Stay Safe"
program. We need to do all we can to encourage this initiative
and make sure everyone goes home.
