OVERVIEW
The purpose of this unit is to give trainees a general understanding of how a forklift works. At the conclusion of this unit, trainees will have a basic understanding of some forklift basics including various types of forklifts and some differences between forklifts and cars; the standard components of most forklifts; and the principles of forklift stability.
