FUNDAMENTALS OF PROCESS SOLUBILITY
(OTFPS)
Format: Video
O V E R V I E W
In this unit, trainees learn the principles of process solubility and their application to various process operations in industry. The basic concepts relating to the formation of homogeneous and heterogeneous mixtures are reviewed. Two important elements of solubility rate of solution and concentration are discussed. This unit also presents various ways to express concentration along with the factors that affect concentrations. Several industrial process systems that employ solubility concepts are highlighted in the unit.
