OVERVIEW

            The purpose of this unit is to examine reactor princi­ples, basic reactor design, various types of reactors (stirred tank, tubular, and catalytic bed), plant batch and continuous reactor operations, and reactor applica­tions. Basic operator responsibilities  for reactor operations are also covered.
