Accident Investigation is Here!
Designed to be implemented six months after completing SAFESTART™ and Taking SAFESTART Home, The SAFESTART Accident/Incident Investigation Enhancement Series is a new reality-based training program that motivates employees to examine close calls and minor incidents, not just serious accidents. Employing both the SAFESTART states-to-errors concepts and the Critical Error Reduction Techniques (CERT), this program examines the root causes (human factors) of accidents in an effort to strengthen the self-triggering method taught in SAFESTART. Actual safety professionals review real accidents and re-enactments, discussing the contributing factors of each accident in the language of this new process.
With The SAFESTART Accident/Incident Investigation Enhancement Series, employees will adopt widespread use of “personal investigations” for minor incidents, translating into fewer costly accidents for your company. The series consists of a Leader Kit (Employee Overview DVD, PowerPoint Instructor Material and 100 CERT cards) and a Participant Kit (5-unit DVD and one 5-unit participant workbook).
