Tales From The Road

Almost A Chainsaw Massacre
A man was clearing some brush at his home one weekend. Near the end of the day a large branch fell on his right leg, putting the lower limb under a bind. Just as the cut was nearly complete, the bind on the branch shifted pinching the chain to a complete stop. As the saw continued to run the man tugged on it several times in an attempt to free the chain.

As he put it, "A small voice told me to kill the engine." He abided by the inner voice and proceeded to shut off the engine. On the very next tug he freed the chain and the saw sprang back and hit him in the face. Because he listened to that voice he only sustained a broken tooth and a small cut that required a couple of stitches. Of course it could have been much worse.
