LETN's Impact
This programming concept by LETN has contributed greatly to law
enforcement across the country. Whether it is Homeland Security,
Critical Incident Management, Street Survival Techniques, or
on line in-service training LETN has something at every level
of law enforcement - city, county, state, and federal.
We may never know the number of lives saved and injuries prevented
by our friends at the Law Enforcement Training Network, not surprising
their only measure of success is “sending us home safely
to our families.”
I count myself fortunate to have contributed to the LETN library of programming.
For many years they have been building and sharing their expertise with input
from law enforcement for law enforcement. Built by cops, for cops.
LETN is a perfect example of the private and public partnership that will help
guide our law enforcement profession through the post 911 era. The changes and
demands on law enforcement have been numerous. LETN has contributed greatly in
keeping law enforcement informed of those demands and changes through their innovative
programming.
