As the Division Manager for TWL Knowledge Group, Mr. Norris is
responsible for managing sales representatives in three training
networks that include the Law Enforcement Training Network (LETN)
the Fire and Emergency Training Network (FETN) and the Professional
Security Training Network (PSTN). In this role, he provides guidance,
assistance and motivation to the sales team to attain monthly,
quarterly and annual goals. In addition, he participates in pre-sales
activities, account management strategies, product deployment
and sales operations to ensure products are delivered and the
customers are implemented on the services.
Mr. Norris joined TWL Knowledge Group in March 1995 as a sales
representative for the Law Enforcement Training Network (LETN)
calling upon state, local and federal law enforcement agencies
offering various training solutions delivered by LETN.
Two years later, he accepted the role of Implementation Manager
of TWL's premier computer-based-training product STTAR (Specialized
Training, Testing and Recordkeeping System) for LETN and FETN.
In this role, Mr. Norris managed the day-to-day operations of
the service that included technical support, database maintenance,
implementation, shipping and receiving, and system upgrades. In
addition to these duties, he worked with LETN and FETN National
Account Managers on product demonstrations and on site implementations
to ensure proper utilization of the product.
In August of 2005, Mr. Norris was promoted to Operations Manager
over the Government Solutions Group where he worked directly with
the sales team providing product training, sales presentation
skills training as well as implementing procedures that expedited
customer utilization of the training products. Working directly
with the Vice President of Sales for the Government Solutions
Group, he was instrumental in increasing sales revenue and reducing
cost. Throughout his career with TWL, Mr. Norris has dedicated
a majority of his time working with subscribing first responder
agencies.
Prior to joining TWL, Mr. Norris was an Adult Probation Officer,
managing a specialized case load, for the Denton County Adult
Probation Department. Mr. Norris holds a bachelor's degree in
Criminal Justice Administration from the University of North Texas.
