Our monthly program lineup includes:

LETN On The Hour: Every hour on the hour, catch up on the latest in law enforcement and LETN network updates. Presented are Law Enforcement headlines, news, stories from our affiliate CNN and updated LETN programming information.

Roll Call: These 30-minute incident-based programs feature training segments ideally suited for roll call training. Each program begins with a visual timeline showing how many minutes into the program each segment is located, allowing training officers to easily choose the segment they wish to use. Some sample topics covered in Roll Call include combat shooting techniques, defensive tactics, transporting high-risk prisoners, and detecting drugs at a traffic stop.

Patrol: These popular half-hour training programs are ideally suited for today’s patrol officers. Whether it’s learning the do’s and don’ts of less-lethal force options, how to deal with a mentally ill suspect or a myriad of other topics, this series of programs will help keep the street officer out of harm’s way.

Special Assignment: LETN’s Special Assignment programs are the perfect way to get training on not-so-typical issues like Critical Incident Media Relations or Internet Crime. There is something new each month to keep you up-to-date and informed. In addition, Special Assignment brings you Surviving the Hot Zone, a half-hour of action packed, incident based video that not only leaves a strong impression but also provides the foundation for lessons learned on responder survival.

Corrections Digest: One of the most often neglected segments of criminal justice training is for correction officers. LETN provides a brand new half-hour program each month specifically for Corrections facilities. Some recent topics include search and prisoner transport, gangs and racial bias, dealing with medical emergencies, riots, and how to survive a hostage incident.

Investigation: Every investigator must stay abreast of the most current techniques of the trade from interpreting blood splatter evidence to interviewing a child witness. Our investigation series features world-renowned experts like Dr. Henry Lee sharing the latest techniques and information. We also air the “Medical Detectives” series showing some of the most bizarre cases and how forensic science has assisted in solving them.

Special programming: In addition to our regular programming, LETN brings you live breaking news stories from across America and allows you to interact with recognized experts through our live teleconferences.

Data Frame: Consistent with the increased need for immediate access to fast-changing emergency information and interaction with state and federal directives, training content will now be delivered within a “Data Frame.”
