This series was developed by David Ray, CFE. Dave holds a law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and was admitted to the British Columbia Bar Association in 1982. He is currently employed with Kroll Associates and has served as a Security Manager with Shell Canada as well as the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. "Canadian Legal Aspects of Security" is now available for those security departments and agencies looking for training programs that address Canadian Law and the security officer.

This series is divided into two installments. First, PSTN provides an "Overview of the Canadian Legal System." This course describes the foundation of Canadian law, the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, Human Rights Legislation, criminal, civil, labor and administrative law. The program ends with a discussion of the Canadian court systems at both the provincial and federal levels.

The second installment is titled "Legal Authority of Protection Officers." It delves into arrests, search and seizure, evidence, testimony and a detailed discussion of civil liability.
