The News Department reports broadcast and Web news for four different networks. The News Department has been around since the company began in 1986. The style and formats have changed through the years, but always the aim has been to have an accurate industry-specific newscast.

FETN News provides the fire service community with news, information and analysis on topics and issues that affect fire fighting, by using appropriate research and delivery technologies, and that are presented in a timely, accurate, fair and interesting manner.

LETN News provides the law enforcement community with news, information and analysis on topics and issues affecting policing, by using appropriate research and delivery technologies, and that are presented in a timely, accurate, fair and interesting manner.
